Four Aim Habits That Separate Good FPS Players From Great Ones
Missing shots in a browser FPS is rarely about a slow mouse or bad ping - it's almost always one of these four habits creeping back in.
Keep the crosshair at head height
Aiming low and correcting upward wastes time every single fight. Resting the crosshair where heads usually appear cuts that correction out entirely.
Peek, don't hold
Standing exposed in a doorway gives the other player a free look. A quick peek-and-retreat gathers the same information with far less risk.
Track before you fire
Snapping the crosshair straight onto a moving target usually overshoots. A short tracking motion before the trigger lands more consistently.
Reset after every death
Rushing back into the same spot that just got you killed repeats the mistake. A slightly different angle on the next life usually pays off.
None of this needs a gaming mouse - it works the same with a trackpad, just with a bit more practice on the tracking motion.
